This year, we’ve welcomed a number of talented graduates into our ranks with whom our team will share their expertise across the accountancy and tax career spectrum

These fledgling recruits – hailing from a range of backgrounds and with different experiences to their name – can look forward to thorough training, exciting opportunities, and plenty of staff socials (!) on the road to qualification.

Some of the graduates who joined earlier in the year have already made a fantastic start, passing their first modules with flying colours before going on to tackle their next ones.

This year’s cohort align with PKF Smith Cooper’s ‘Excel’ value, being one of the strongest we’ve ever recruited. We look forward to working with all of them in developing their careers.

Engaging fresh talent isn’t easy – especially during the current climate – yet it seems like, here at PKF Smith Cooper, we’ve not only managed to successfully do just that, but we’ve also recruited one of our strongest cohorts to date! Attracting such a hard-working, ambitious, and diverse team of graduates to bolster our ranks is a real privilege and a sign of the continued growth of the company.

Smith Cooper IFS have created a very friendly and encouraging atmosphere that will help me to achieve my potential.

We know that working and studying simultaneously can be tricky (many of us from our own experience!), but we’re looking forward to supporting our trainees and seeing them develop throughout their career. Our advice is to remember to take some time each weekend to rest and recalibrate; engaging in frequent social events with colleagues is also a great way of letting loose!

I am really excited about starting my new role at PKF Smith Cooper, which will give me the opportunity to learn new skills, learn about clients’ needs, and meet new people.

Helen Bonsmann, Graduate Audit Assistant

We wish our graduate recruits the best of luck during their time with us working, training, and studying.

Enjoy!
