I am the Payroll Manager at PKF Smith Cooper and am based in the Derby Office. I have over 15 years’ experience in the payroll industry working in payroll bureaus, where I have dealt with processing a variety of payrolls.
What can I do for your organisation?
With many complicated legislative changes in the payroll world over recent years I aim to offer clients peace of mind when it comes to processing their employees’ wages. We offer clients tailored solutions to meet their business needs and can provide support and advice on all payroll-related issues.
Experience counts
I have been working in payroll since 2005 when I started my first role as a trainee payroll administrator. Since then, I have worked across multiple payroll bureaus gaining knowledge on the complete end-to-end cycle of payroll processing. Part of which was as a solo manager of a portfolio of clients based at a local Accountancy firm.
In October 2021, I joined PKF Smith Cooper as Payroll Manager to help review systems and processes and provide the team with more capacity. We are striving to help reduce the time clients need to spend on payroll so that they can invest that time elsewhere in their businesses.
Deeper knowledge
During my time in payroll, I have completed the CIPP Foundation Degree in payroll management, which has helped me to better understand the whole process of running different payrolls.
Personally speaking
In my spare time I like to read, watch Anime, play games on my Xbox and watch Liverpool FC. At weekends I spend time with my 2 daughters visiting various places and taking them to their sporting activities
