Hello…
Hello, I’m Beth – an audit assistant manager based in our Derby office. I joined Smith Cooper in August 2017 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2020, winning the R J Weston Prize for best performance in Derbyshire in my final exams.
I am responsible for leading and managing audit assignments, and supporting senior management on larger complex engagements.
What can I do for your organisation?
I hope to offer a smooth and efficient audit process, from planning stages through to completion. I ensure I get to know you and your business thoroughly, so I can meet the needs of my clients by tailoring our processes to suit daily business.
I will ensure a high-quality audit engagement is provided alongside a friendly face!
Experience counts
I graduated from Newcastle University with a first-class degree in Business Management and went on to secure a graduate role as a sales associate for a Jaguar car dealership. This gave me invaluable insight in client facing roles and have used this to build up great professional relationships with my clients as an auditor and chartered accountant.
Deeper knowledge
Since joining, I have worked on a wide array of engagements in varying industries, from construction, manufacturing and through to academies.
I have also been involved in a number of non-statutory engagements such as Solicitor Accounts Rules audits.
Personally speaking
When my time isn’t taken up running round after my wild toddler, I enjoy spending time with my friends & family and going on long walks!
