Hello
I am the Partner in charge of PKF Smith Cooper’s Ashbourne office, advising owner-managed businesses in the area, particularly those in the agricultural sector.
What can I do for your organisation?
I have strong technical tax and financial accounting expertise, as well as a keen commercial acumen.
Experience counts
I joined Cooper Parry in 1987 and qualified in 1991 (ICAEW and FCA). I then joined PKF Smith Cooper in 1994 and was made a partner in 1996, responsible for the Ashbourne and Buxton offices.
Deeper knowledge
I grew up in a rural environment and have spent over 20 years working with agricultural businesses, so I have developed an expertise in this area and lead PKF Smith Cooper’s team of experts for companies in this sector.
Personally speaking
I could be described as a petrolhead! I have a passion for motorbikes and historic motorsport, having raced cars for over 25 years, with mixed success. I also enjoy skiing and cycling and am happier in downhill mode than up with both sports!
When I don’t feel the need for speed, I’m happy tinkering with my old Land Rover and tractors and enjoying the odd spot of clay pigeon shooting, time (and children) permitting.
