I am a Corporate Tax Director based in our Derby office.
What can I do for your organisation?
I manage the corporate tax compliance process, working closely with the audit and business services teams, as well as other specialists, to make the compliance cycle as smooth and efficient as possible for clients. In addition, I have experience of preparing tax accounting workings (both under FRS102 and IFRS/FRS101) for tax accounts disclosures for businesses where audit may be barred from performing this work for regulatory reasons.
Experience counts
I started my career with a ‘Big 4’ accountancy firm, completing the ICAS CA exams to become a Chartered Accountant, and the CIOT Chartered Tax Advisor qualification.
I worked there for almost 13 years, initially in the general corporate tax team, and for the last 3 years in the specialist corporate tax compliance team managing the compliance and tax accounting needs of a wide range of businesses. I was promoted to Manager in 2018.
I joined PKF Smith Cooper in 2020 as a Manager, before being promoted to Senior Manager in July 2022 and Director in 2024.

I have a wealth of experience of working with businesses of different sizes, and from different industries.
Personally speaking
Outside of work I enjoy holidays with my family, and watching sports, in particular football.
