I am the Personal Tax manager for the Derby office. I have worked for PKF Smith Cooper since 2012 and deal with tax compliance and planning for individuals, ranging from the self-employed to partners in professional partnerships, owner-managers and the independently wealthy.

I can ensure that your tax affairs are up to date and help structure your tax affairs to minimise your liabilities, but, perhaps most importantly, I can give you peace of mind.

I have almost 30 years’ experience in personal tax.
After studying Geography at the University of Birmingham, I began my career at Touche Ross, then spent over 20 years at KPMG in Birmingham. In 2012, I joined PKF Smith Cooper in Nottingham, and after a six-month stint as the family office manager of a successful entrepreneurial family, I rejoined PKF Smith Cooper in Derby.
Deeper knowledge
I concentrate on getting to know my clients and what makes them tick. I don’t suggest ‘off the shelf’ tax compliance procedures or planning – everyone is different, and the service I offer is aimed at individuals, not clients.
Personally speaking
I am married with three daughters, so I don’t understand this section!
