On 13th and 14th of November, London played host to the world’s most innovative conference for cloud accounting leaders in the UK – Xerocon 2019.

Featuring interactive exhibitions, innovative new product launches, and world class keynote speakers (including an astronaut!), the event showcased the very best of the online accounting software solution, and equipped Xero partners with the skills and tools to take their business operations to the next level, so that they can help their clients do the very same thing.

The event showcased what the future of Xero looks like, revealing details of new and improved apps such as TransferWise, which enables you to pay for your bills through Xero, Hubdoc, an app focused on paperless processing, which automates data entry and transaction coding to help ensure accurate and up-to-date financials, and Fluidly – an intelligent cash flow tool that produces real-time cashflow forecasts and dynamic insights into a companies finances, integrating seamlessly with Xero.

Xero also announced Business Snapshot, a handy new tool coming into force in the 1st quarter of 2020, intended to provide businesses with real-time, smarter insights, which will provide important critical business metrics and trends, to help address immediate issues. The spotlight also fell on Xero VAT HQ – another invaluable tool which provides insight into where clients are at with their VAT returns, ensuring they are submitted accurately and on time. Other additions included automated payroll functionality, providing a solution to ease paperwork, as well as a ‘Quotes’ function to support job profitability.
