Hello
I joined PKF Smith Cooper in July 2017 as Insolvency Director. I am based across the firm’s offices, though principally in Derby.
What can I do for your organisation?
My career, which spans 29 years, is built on advising distressed and underperforming owner-managed businesses in the SME market. I assist businesses and individuals who are experiencing difficulties in uncertain markets where margins are tight.
Experience counts
Throughout my career, I have progressed through many roles within insolvency, building a repertoire of skills and experience. I passed my JIEB in 2008, qualifying as an insolvency practitioner. For the past 15 months, I have been taking appointments in my own boutique insolvency practice.
Deeper knowledge
I have extensive experience in undertaking independent business reviews for stakeholders as well as working on trading assignments.
Personally speaking
I am married to Catherine, a secondary school French and German teacher. We are the proud parents of a very soft and loveable 50kg dog. I enjoy trips to the beaches and pubs of Cornwall, and hope to one day relocate there. I also enjoy clay pigeon shooting, DIY challenges and dining out as often as possible. I particularly enjoy experiencing top restaurants, and my favourite to date is Paul Ainsworth at No.6 in my beloved Cornwall.
