Hello
I am a Partner based in the firm’s Derby office. I am a chartered accountant, auditor and business adviser with particular expertise within the healthcare, academies and manufacturing sectors.
What can I do for your organisation?
I manage a varied portfolio of clients for audit/accounts purposes and offer business advice on a number of areas, from financial management through to refinancing, restructuring and acquisitions.
Experience counts
Since joining PKF Smith Cooper in 2009, I have worked with a range of clients, from small owner- managed businesses to companies with a turnover in excess of £100 million.
I have progressed through the company, achieving three consecutive promotions, the most recent of which has taken me to partnership level. I am now responsible for a portfolio of audit clients and also direct a range of advisory assignments, which include acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing solutions.
Deeper knowledge
I graduated from Manchester University and qualified as a chartered accountant in August 2012, when my hard work and excellent exam results won me the prestigious Strachan Prize for finishing fourth in the International Order of Merit.
Since joining the firm, I have gained a specialism in dealing with complicated business advisory assignments, such as the £16.5 million refinancing of a care home client, the turnaround and restructuring of a domiciliary care business, and various IBR assignments. My relationship with clients teamed with my knowledge has led to me becoming a trusted go-to adviser at a very young age.
Personally speaking
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sport, including golf, racquetball and football, and am a passionate Derby County supporter. I also take an active involvement in charity work, taking part in a number of events and fundraisers and running the London Marathon to raise money for my chosen charity.
