I manage a diverse portfolio of clients for audit and compliance purposes and along with my colleagues advise on financial management, refinancing, restructuring and acquisitions.
My approach is collaborative and solutions-focused, helping management teams and business owners make informed decisions in complex or high-pressure situations.
Experience counts
I joined PKF Smith Cooper in 2009 and have worked with a broad range of clients, from owner- managed businesses to large foreign owned and Private Equity backed entities with turnover in excess of £700 million. Over the course of my career with the firm, I have progressed through three consecutive promotions, culminating in my appointment as Partner in 2016.
I am responsible for a significant portfolio of audit and assurance assignments across a wider range of industries. My experience across both audit and advisory disciplines enables me to provide joined-up, commercially aware advice.
Deeper knowledge
I graduated from The University of Manchester and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in August 2012. My exam performance was recognised with the prestigious Strachan Prize, awarded for finishing fourth in the International Order of Merit.
Since qualifying, I have developed a strong specialism in compliance, with more than 10 years’ experience as an audit Responsible Individual. My ability to combine technical expertise with a strong client relationship has helped establish me as a trusted advisor to businesses navigating periods of change or challenge.
Personally speaking
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family as well as watching and playing sport, particularly golf and football. I also take an active involvement in charity fundraising, having participated in numerous events and fundraisers, including running the London Marathon on three occasions to raise money for my chosen charity.
