I joined PKF Smith Cooper in 2018 from a well-known Midlands based accounting firm as an Insolvency Administrator and am now a Manager in the Business Recovery and Restructuring team based in the Derby Office.
Experience and expertise
My entire professional career to date (6 years and counting) has been in restructuring, and I therefore have experience in dealing with a variation of different assignments and have dealt with a number of companies from a wide range of industry sectors, including professional services and construction.
I am a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, having qualified in October 2020 and have recently completed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.
What can I do for your organisation?
I can offer helpful and proactive support to businesses and stakeholders that have entered into restructuring processes, ensuring that all assignments are dealt with compliantly. I also offer pre-restructuring support to businesses and stakeholders, assisting in forming strategies or providing options going forward and attempting to achieve sales of business and assets as a going concern.
I have experience in working with companies in a number of industry sectors, including construction, professional/legal services, printing, retail and motor vehicles.
Personally speaking
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, preferably down the pub! I enjoy sports, I am a Leicester City fan, and I am trying (but currently failing) to learn how to play golf.
