Experience counts
I qualified as a certified accountant in 2004 and have worked at a range of smaller accountancy firms in Staffordshire and Derbyshire, building up my experience of small owner-managed businesses and providing accountancy services for these. Furthermore, I have experience over a wide range of sectors, including agriculture and construction.
Deeper knowledge
With over 30 years of accountancy and taxation experience working for smaller firms before joining PKF Smith Cooper I have been able to focus my skills on dealing with sole traders, partnerships and limited companies advising for their specific requirements.
I have experience of using a variety of software packages including Xero, Sage, Quickbooks, Sum-it and Farmplan.
Personally speaking
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy going for work in the countryside with my husband and dog.
I am vice president of Staffordshire County Federation of Young Farmers Clubs and also a life member of Ashbourne Shire Horse Society who host the Ashbourne Show.
