I help large UK businesses and multinational groups manage their corporate tax obligations, strengthen tax governance and make commercially informed decisions.

What can I do for your organisation?

By taking the time to understand your organisation, I can identify potential tax risks and opportunities and help you navigate complex tax requirements with confidence. Whether you need support with routine matters or advice on a more technical issue, I provide clear, pragmatic guidance shaped around your commercial priorities. Where wider expertise is needed, I will bring in the right specialist at the right stage, giving you joined-up support without unnecessary complexity.

I also work closely with senior leadership teams to strengthen tax governance, including Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) requirements, HMRC Business Risk Reviews (BRR+) and Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) compliance. This helps businesses demonstrate appropriate oversight and manage tax risk.

Experience counts

I have nearly 20 years’ experience in tax and have spent most of my career working with Big Four and leading mid-market firms. During that time, I have advised a wide range of organisations, with particular experience supporting businesses with UK turnover exceeding £200m and UK entities within multinational groups with global turnover above €750m. This experience enables me to combine technical depth with a practical understanding of the pressures facing complex and growing organisations.

Deeper knowledge

I have extensive experience helping businesses identify tax risks, unlock opportunities and strengthen their tax governance frameworks. My key areas of expertise include:

  • Corporation tax compliance
  • Corporate interest deductibility including Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR)
  • Pillar Two compliance and reporting
  • Senior Accounting Officer reviews and compliance
  • HMRC Business Risk Review (BRR+) support
  • Tax strategy preparation and publication
  • Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) training and advice
  • Tax due diligence for acquisitions and disposals

Personally speaking

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my family, including the newest member of the household, an inquisitive but fun cocker spaniel puppy.

I enjoy going to gigs, spending time with friends and family and I’m a long suffering Evertonian.
