I manage the corporate tax compliance process, overseeing the preparation of the tax workings for the statutory accounts and corporation tax returns for submission to HMRC. I work closely with my colleagues in the business services and audit teams and, where relevant, other tax specialist teams, to make the compliance cycle as smooth as possible and to identify tax risks and opportunities that my clients should be aware of. I also assist from a corporate tax perspective in the delivery of a wide range of advisory projects.
Experience counts
I started my career with a ‘Big 4’ accountancy firm, completing the ACA qualification in 2018 to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant. I worked at the firm for nearly a decade, primarily as a manager in the Private Business tax team where I built relationships and worked closely with private equity, private and family-owned businesses to manage their tax affairs. I have always enjoyed getting to know my clients and understanding their commercial priorities and challenges so that I can help to advise on tax risks and opportunities and wider professional services.

I have worked closely with a wide range of clients, both large and SME businesses, UK-only businesses and UK companies that are part of a MNE group, and businesses operating in a variety of industries.
Personally speaking
I am a keen sports fan and can often be found battling away on a football pitch, a Parkrun course or a tennis court, or engrossed in the action at the City Ground or Trent Bridge.
