In my role, I support clients of all sizes and industries with employment tax compliance, including advising on off-payroll working, benefits, expenses, salary sacrifice, National Minimum Wage and the Construction Industry Scheme. I also help clients to manage HMRC reviews and enquiries effectively and assist with making voluntary disclosures where errors have occurred.
Experience counts
I spent the first 4.5 years of my career at a big four firm in the East Midlands, starting as a graduate and progressing to manager. I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser.
Deeper knowledge
I have a wide range of experience across various industries, including both private and public sector. In my previous role, I specialised in employment tax governance, primarily for clients who fell within the Senior Accounting Officer regime but also for internal purposes. This involved reviewing employment tax and payroll processes and controls to identify any control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement or greater efficiencies. Outside of this specialism, I have had exposure to a wide range of employment tax matters, including off-payroll working, payrolling of benefits, P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements, expenses, non-resident directors, short-term business visitors, National Minimum Wage, holiday pay and the Construction Industry Scheme.
Personally speaking
I love doing anything relaxing like reformer pilates and yoga. I’m also a big foodie and really enjoy cooking and baking.
