Claire Spencer, Corporate Finance Partner at PKF Smith Cooper – Before joining PKF Smith Cooper in 2024, Claire was a co-founding Partner for an independent corporate finance boutique. Claire has over 25 years’ experience in corporate sales and acquisitions, having sold a large number of businesses cross border, and an increasing number to private equity firms. Since joining our team, she has helped shape and action our ambitious growth strategy and played a fundamental role in strengthening our presence in the East Midlands.
Alice Rees, Partner at Nelsons – Alice joined Nelsons in 2004, qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and became a partner in 2018. As head of the corporate team across the region, Alice carries out a management role alongside advising businesses in a variety of sectors on corporate law matters to include acquisitions, disposals and mergers, company formations and reorganisations, management buy-outs and buy-ins and shareholders’ agreements.
