I started my training working for a small firm of Nottingham based accountants where I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2003. I moved to a large multi-national firm after qualification where I worked in the audit department for 12 years, working with a variety of clients. During my time with the firm, I developed the academy sector audit offering and supported the audit team on sector specific technical queries.
Before joining the firm, I worked in a multi-academy trust from 2017 as CFO where I had oversight of finance and operations.

Before joining the firm, I worked for 5 years as a CFO for a Nottinghamshire based multi academy trust. This provides a broad level experience to support our client base.
Personally speaking
I enjoy spending my spare time with family and friends and have been a Nottingham Panthers season ticket holder for several years. When time permits, I enjoy baking, walking and photography.
