I am a chartered accountant and auditor with significant experience working within the manufacturing, hospitality and professional services sectors. My client portfolio ranges from small owner managed businesses to companies with turnover in excess of £50 million.
I am responsible for ensuring that a high quality, efficient audit is delivered by our team and that your expectations are met throughout the audit process. I look to build strong relationships with my clients by working to understanding their business, it’s challenges and needs, and look to add value wherever possible.
Experience counts
Prior to joining PKF Smith Cooper, I graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a first class degree in Accounting and Finance. Ahead of beginning my career in practice, I also gained invaluable experience working within a finance function of a globally recognised FTSE 100 company, which helped to develop my understanding and appreciation of working in industry.
Deeper knowledge
On top of gaining significant experience auditing clients across a number of sectors, I have also developed a particular specialism performing client money assurance assignments. This includes assessing compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, the Council for Licensed Conveyancers Accounts Code as well as CASS rules for FCA regulated entities.
Personally speaking
Outside of work, I enjoy spending my time with friends and family. I am also an avid football fan and Derby County supporter and try to get to as many games as I can.
