Experience counts
I spent much of my early career in corporate recovery, working with underperforming, distressed and illiquid businesses. While different to my current daily work and client base, this grounding was invaluable and gave me real experience of all the potential stages of a business’s life cycle. This means that whether you are currently experiencing sunshine or showers, there’s never a situation or challenge outside of my knowledge or understanding.

While I enjoy the constant variety and challenges involved in working alongside business owners from all industry sectors, I have specific experience in working with clients in healthcare, construction, manufacturing, retail and professional services.
Personally speaking
Outside work, my wife and I are kept busy and entertained by our son and daughter. While this leaves me with less time to pursue my sporting interests, I still manage to play the occasional competitive round of golf and get out among the Derbyshire hills on my road bike, and I also manage to visit the home of football – Pride Park – several times a season.
