I am a Tax Advisory Partner, specialising in Business Tax here at PKF Smith Cooper, which means I lead the tax services to a number of complex, mainly owner-managed, companies, with a particular focus on Corporation Tax and tax advisory work. I also head up our Nottingham tax team and work with the wider UK&I PKF network as PKF Smith Cooper’s international tax contact.

My role is all about understanding your business – and not just looking at tax in isolation. In developing a holistic understanding of your business, as well as your commercial and personal objectives, I ensure that your projects and business operations are structured in a tax efficient manner.

I pride myself on providing tailored advice that is easy to understand on a range of complex business tax issues, helping you make an informed decision about your tax position.

Experience counts

I joined PKF Smith Cooper in 2008 where I finished my CTA qualification, having previously worked for a small local practice.

Over the years I have been lucky enough to support clients in a range of different sectors, and work on extremely varied projects, with the main aim of assisting clients achieve their end goal in the most tax efficient way. This can include advising on corporate reorganisations, ensuring our clients retain their talent through employee based incentives, succession planning and everything in between.

Personally speaking

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and the newest addition to our family – our cockerpoo puppy, Wallace! I also love socialising with friends, travelling and watching the odd reality TV series on Netflix (my guilty pleasure!)
