I am an Indirect Tax compliance manager and joined PKF Smith Cooper in March 2022. I have been a VAT compliance specialist since 2007 and I am based in the Birmingham office.

Can assist with all aspects of VAT compliance, from compliance reporting, process reviews, technology, transformation to general advice on transactions and VAT obligations, the services offered can be tailored to meet clients’ requirements also assisting clients to make VAT savings where possible and avoid penalties and interest charges.
Experience counts
I spent 13 years in the PwC compliance centre based in Birmingham, followed by two years as a manager with the EY compliance team also based in the Birmingham office. My client base was varied, working with a wide range of businesses from local retailers to multinational pharmaceutical companies with VAT registrations globally.
Personally speaking
For the last 10 years or so, I have played Midlands level rugby union but now close to retirement, I have obtained my RFU level 2 coaching qualification which I will use to bring through the new generations of players. I also like walking adventures with my wife, young son and 2 dogs.
