I am a Business Recovery and Restructuring Director based at the Derby office.
What can I do for your organisation?
I can provide frank and honest advice on all aspects of business recovery and restructuring, whether it is you, your business or a customer who is currently experiencing issues with business recovery or restructuring.
Experience counts
All my professional life has been in restructuring, and I have therefore accumulated over a decade of front-line restructuring experience. I started in this field straight out of university in a small restructuring boutique in the historic and beautiful city of York, before returning home to the East Midlands, where I’ve progressed through the ranks to my current role. On the way, I have qualified as an accountant and have completed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.
Deeper knowledge
In addition to my accountancy qualification, I obtained a degree in Physics from the University of York. Other than the mathematical proficiency this course required, as I am sure you can imagine, very little of the knowledge I acquired on this course has transferred into my day-to-day work in restructuring.
Personally speaking
I’m a proud mum to my son and daughter. I enjoy hiking in my spare time, and I have even completed the UK Three Peaks Challenge with my friends. I am a keen badminton player, but I only play with friends and family for fun and a bit of exercise. I love baking and find it a relaxing hobby after a hectic day.
