My career has been focused on business recovery, restructuring and insolvency, advising directors, business owners and stakeholders through complex, high-pressure situations.
Having worked in national and Big Four environments, including PwC, I have advised on large and complex assignments such as high-profile administrations, corporate restructurings and pre-transaction advisory work, developing a deep technical grounding and strong commercial judgement.
In 2012, I founded LM Insolvency & Advisory Limited, which I built and led for 13 years. As founder and principal, I advised a wide range of owner-managed businesses, directors, and individuals — from early intervention advisory work through to formal insolvency appointments. My practice was built entirely on reputation, relationships, and referrals, with clients and intermediaries valuing a highly personal, pragmatic and commercially focused approach.
I joined PKF Smith Cooper to combine the boutique-firm mindset with the scale, depth of resources, and multidisciplinary expertise of a leading advisory firm — allowing clients to benefit from both.

I am a Chartered Accountant and Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, with experience across formal insolvency appointments, restructuring advisory work and strategic business reviews.
My work spans a broad range of sectors and situations, including complex corporate insolvencies, solvent and insolvent business closures, director advisory assignments and stakeholder negotiations. Having both advised within large firms and run my own practice, I have a strong appreciation of the commercial realities facing business owners — particularly where personal risk, stress and uncertainty are involved.
I am known for tailoring solutions to individual circumstances, recognising that no two businesses — or business owners — are the same. I focus on practical, deliverable outcomes that balance technical requirements with what is realistically achievable for the client and their stakeholders.
Personally speaking
Outside of work, I have a strong interest in health and wellbeing and enjoy staying active through yoga and walking. I also enjoy cooking and travelling.
