We are celebrating another successful cohort of promotions across six service lines, after a significant year of growth. Our firm saw 68 new starters join throughout 2024, with 21 graduates joining across all departments, the biggest number seen to date.
Some of our notable promotions at PKF Smith Cooper include Callum Leslie, who has been promoted to Assistant Corporate Manager after making an impressive impact in the Corporate Finance team since joining the firm in 2023. In the Audit department, Ali Raynor has been promoted to Senior Audit Manager and David Erentz, winner of the ICAEW’s prestigious R J Weston Prize earlier this year, celebrates a promotion to Assistant Audit Manager. We are also celebrating promotions across Business Services, Business Recovery and Restructuring and Tax.
Our internal team has also been bolstered, with Lauren Birkhead promoted to Business Support Manager and Will Quinn to Assistant Talent Acquisition Manager, strengthening the central operations of the firm.
During the past year, we have received consistent external recognition for our outstanding client services and workplace culture including receiving 14 shortlist nominations, and being named finalists for both Employer of the Year at the Accounting Excellence Awards and Corporate Finance Team of the Year at the Insider Midlands Dealmakers Awards.
