I am a Management Accountant at PKF Smith Cooper, based in our Derby office. I have thirteen years’ experience working in management accounts with companies from a variety of industries.
Financial accounts look at historic data and although management accounts are not a legal requirement they are a great tool and give a forward-looking perspective; an opportunity to make a difference.
What can I do for your organisation?
I head up the management accounts service line for the practice offering to new and existing clients.
I work with you to create a bespoke package reporting on performance measures that matter most to your business enabling you to make fully informed business decisions, track progress and trends therefore reaching your business aspirations.
I joined PKF Smith Cooper in 2016, having previously worked for a Venture Capitalist for five years creating and preparing cash flows, management accounts, KPI reporting and forecasts for invested companies. I implemented and improved processes within the finance functions to help with the day-to-day running and providing a further insight into the numbers.
I started my career in 2006 as a Treasury Assistant at a managed print services company in Lincoln. During the four years I fulfilled a variety of roles across management, financial and subsidiary accounting. I have also completed the Xero Advisor certification during my time at PKF Smith Cooper.
Outside of work I enjoy weekends away in the campervan and exploring the great outdoors. I love going to music festivals and look forward to our annual Glastonbury trip! During recent months I have found a new love for home workouts and have now got a good collection of kettlebells.
